Top 3 Multiplayer Interactive Math Games to Try This Week

Multiplayer games are tricky to pull off in the classroom.  But if you have an iPad lab like some lucky schools, then a simple interactive math game maybe just what you need to keep your class engaged!  Luckily, there’s a new trend towards multiplayer educational game development.

Here are our 3 favorite multiplayer online interactive math games online:

#3. Island Chase Subtraction – In Island Chase, you race against others to win a jet ski race.  Players can enter races against each other and up to 4 players can play at once.  It’s a great game for 1st grade students who are just gaining dexterity on the computer.  Our best was 29 questions (with 100% accuracy :) ).  See what you can do!

#2. Jet Ski Addition – Similar to Island Chase Subtraction mentioned earlier, this game takes a first-person perspective of a jet ski race.  The game play is essentially the same as Island Chase where getting questions correct increases your jet ski’s speed.  We gave this game a better ranking because we prefer the first-person perspective.  If you liked #3, you’ll like this one too.

#1. Dirt Bike Proportions – This is a 4th grade math game that has the same style of game play as Jet Ski Addition and Island Chase Subtraction.  Players race against each other and propel their dirt bike faster by getting questions correct at a good pace.
